Taxi fare runs approximately $55-$65 each way.
Shared Ride Motor Shuttle Mears offers one-way and round trip service. The cost is $21 per adult/$17 per child (age 4-11) one-way and $34 per adult /$27 per child round trip. Reservations can be made on line at www.mearstransportation.com or by calling 407-843-2404. Keep in mind it is a shared ride shuttle with other passengers going to other hotels. The wait time is approximately 30 minutes but can be upwards of 45 minutes once contact is made with a Mears representative at the Mears Motor Shuttle counter on ground level at the airport.
Arrivals: Reservations are not required. However, if you do make an online reservation, you MUST PRINT OUT your Confirmation Page to present it at the Mears Motor Shuttle counter at the airport to receive the actual vouchers. The travel time is approximately 25 minutes once you leave airport property. The shuttle will drop you off at Gaylord’s Main Entrance.
The counters on level 1 open at 7:45 am and do not close before midnight. (If you arrive after hours, a sign on the Mears counter will instruct you to call customer service and provide the phone number. Customer service will then advise dispatch to send a van. The guest must have cash to pay the driver, as they cannot accept credit cards.)
Departures to the Airport: Reservations are required for departures from the Gaylord to the airport. Make your return reservation via the website or by calling Mears Customer Service Center (407-843-2404) at least 24 hours prior to departure. The shuttle will pick you up at the hotel's Transportation Lobby. Pick up times are 20 and 50 minutes past each hour. Mears recommends you schedule your pick up approximately 3 hours prior to your Domestic flight and 4 hours prior to your International flight. Please arrive at the Transportation Lobby 15 minutes before the scheduled pick up time. The driver does not come into the resort to announce the arrival of the shuttle. It is the guest's responsibility to keep watch for the motor shuttle and go outside when it arrives. Keep in mind it is a shared ride motor shuttle and may run a few minutes behind schedule from time to time. If the shuttle has not arrived 10 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, please call Mears at 407-843-2404, provide them with your reservation #, and ask what the ETA for your shuttle will be.
Shuttle Service to Theme Parks:
Gaylord Palms offers complimentary scheduled shuttle bus service to Walt Disney World theme parks and Downtown Disney. A daily schedule is available at the concierge desk.
